Routine Appointments

Routine appointments can be made for the same day by ringing the surgery from 08:30.

One week advance appointments are made by ringing from 09:30 Monday to Friday (except Thursday). You can make an appointment to see any doctor you choose but it is better to see the same doctor through the course of each illness.

Morning Appointments 09:00 – 12:00

You can phone the surgery on the day of your choice and book a same day appointment. Phone lines are open at 08:30. Please remember that these appointments go very quickly. Should this happen and you cannot wait until the next day please ask the receptionist for other alternative options that are available.

Afternoon Appointments 13:00 – 14:50

Afternoon appointments are available on two days of the week. Please speak to a receptionist.

Evening Appointments 16:00 – 18:00

Evening surgery is only for pre-booked appointments, one week in advance.

Late Evening Appointments 18:30 – 19:00 (Extended Hours)

We have now extended our surgery hours in the evenings. On Tuesday and Wednesdays you will be able to make an appointment to see the doctor after 18:30. These appointments are pre-bookable on the day, they are not for emergencies. If you require emergency assistance or a visit during these extended times you will need to contact the out-of-hours service as normal by dialling 020 8459 5550 and following the instructions given.

Emergency Appointments

If you have an emergency and you cannot get an appointment on the same day, ask the receptionist if you can speak to the doctor on call. The doctor will either give advice or arrange an appointment.

Please note, repeat prescriptions, medical forms and certificates can only be dealt with through a booked appointment. You will not be seen as an emergency appointment.

Telephone Advice

If no appointments are available and you have been offered the opportunity to speak to the doctor on call/standby, the reception staff will take your contact number. Your name will be added to the doctors list and the doctor will call you back to talk to you to help decide the best way to manage the problem.

Telephone consultations are available mornings and evenings from 09:00 – 12:20 and 15:40 – 18:30.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
